Grandpa Joe’s Candy Shop is thrilled to announce their newest location in Spring Lake Park, Minnesota.  

Previously, Blue Sun Soda Shop this brand new location enhances the World’s Largest Soda Shop into an experience never seen before. With hundreds of glass bottled craft sodas from around the world and an on-site glass soda bottling facility, you may even catch a glimpse of your favorite soda pop being produced! Prepare yourself, because you may be overwhelmed with the vast amount of candy & soda inventory stacked from the floor to the ceiling in our 12,000 sq ft retail location.

Grandpa Joe’s Candy Shop offers the regions widest selection of candy, including nostalgic, novelty, bulk, International, and newfangled confectionary concoctions.  In additional to the huge collection of glass bottled craft soda pop & candy, our Spring Lake Park location also offers an old-school soda fountain & hand-scooped ice cream. Grandpa Joe’s also features an awesome collection of quirky gifts, nostalgic toys, and so much more!

Bottling Tour

We are proud to offer tours of our award-winning bottling facility. Now you can see our vintage bottling in action! Whistler Classic Soda and North Star Craft Soda are both bottled on an authentic 1952 Crown, Cork and Seal Dixie Model F bottling line; just like in the old days.

*A PRIOR RESERVATION IS REQUIRED FOR ALL TOURS. TOURS REQUIRE A 10 PERSON MINIMUM. The price of the tour is $5.99 per person. If you are booking for a group of 25 people or more, please contact us to setup a private tour time slot.

A multiple-flavor soda tasting will follow the tour.

We cannot guarantee that you’ll see bottling in action; it will depend on if they happen to be bottling that day. However, your group will enjoy a 30-45 minute class on how we make and bottle our soda. Afterwards, the group will move to our classic soda fountain to learn how to craft flavors and make your own soda to enjoy. We tailor our tours to all different age groups and interest groups. Additionally, we are wheelchair accessible to accommodate the needs of everyone.
